The Honduras adoption program is considered TDH Ontario Inc.’s oldest and respected program. Honduras is known as a low income Latin America country that faces major challenges. Over 50 percent of the population live in poverty, so often the children are impoverished, orphaned or abandoned.
Unfortunately, the goodwill and generosity of the Hondurans people alone is not enough to provide these children with all the care they so desperately need. I am dedicated to helping them find better lives through adoption.
Over the years, I have come to wear many hats: military spouse, advocate, and certified teacher. The most rewarding of all, is being a proud mother to nine wonderful children (4 adopted and 5 births). The experience of adopting has enabled me to understand what it really means to “go through” the entire process of becoming an adoptive parent.
I have a wealth of knowledge on the complexity of adoption and it would be my pleasure to share it with you. I feel privileged to be the Honduras program coordinator for TDH Ontario Inc. and I look forward to helping you navigate through your adoption journey!
